Live Vicariously....

I didn't play one hand of poker this weekend but I had a blast. Friday night I went to the O's/Sox game where we were blown out of the water 14-8!! Had some overpriced beer, ran into superdave from md-poker, and called it a night after the thunderstorms came rolling in.

Saturday my game was cancelled due to lack of players. I had 8 at one point in time but one by one they started dropping like flies and when I got down to 5 I decided to throw in the towel and enjoy what was left of the day.

Saturday night was a blast! I went out with two poker playing friends down to Havana Club and then over to Babalu's. Over at Babalu's I ran into Steve Dannenman who is still a real cool guy. We talked a little bit about Owl's club where we both played before he became a multi-millionaire. He said he recognized me from the club and that we had played together before but I don't remember playing at the same table as him. He is still a social fun loving guy and hasn't let the $$$ or fame get to his head from what I saw which is great. It was a great weekend but I do wish I could have got some poker in... It's been awhile.
