Recently I have been working on patching two leaks in my game. Pre-flop suited connector play and spewing on flush draws. In the latter I don't mean fishing, as in "Sure I will call your bet and PRAY that I hit a diamond" instead I mean "You min-raise me tough guy? Oh yeah! Lets make it rain in this mother f'er! I'm gonna throw a spew party and your invited - ALL IN!"
That machismo attitude has cost me quite a bit of money as I miss the river time after time. Open ended straight flush draws, top pair flush draws, you name it. Here is four examples:

Now while in example B I still think I may (keyword: may) have made the right call, I was still sure I was behind.. which is not a good thing. Mark my words: "I am no longer throwing spew parties on AP! Hollah!"
On another note last night I ran into a 70/20 fish with over $700 sitting at the 1/2 NL - score! I ran a search and also saw he was sitting at a 2/4 NL so I joined that table as well. In summary I knocked maybe $140 off him at 1/2 NL but I lost around -$140 in the 2/4 NL due to being card dry and just getting mixed up in one hand.
