Drinking vs Poker...the two evils that I love so much.

Ok, here's the deal. I have sworn off drinking for hopefully a month. Why? Because I just can't do it anymore my body can't take it, I have a stomach condition (like an ulcer) and I should'nt be drinking in the first place, but I love to go out and party which ultimatly leads to drinking. Last night I was playing some pool @ The Gin Mill and sure enough I turned down a free drink. No disrespect, just gotta stay true to my goal to give up drinking.

What is that going to lead too? Increased poker playing. Since I want to try to avoid the vice I will ultimatly end up attending more home games, going to AC, etc. I walked down this road before and one of the reasons I faded away from the home game circuit to begin with is I move downtown and there are bars and something to do all the time, all around you.
